Curology is a teledermatology service pairing users with licensed providers to prescribe custom-compounded topical formulas.
Custom formula was tretinoin + niacinamide + clindamycin. Took about 10 weeks for my skin to stop freaking out and another 6 for real improvement. Provider chats via the app are hit or miss — depends who you get.
Worked okay but I kept getting mild texture issues from one of the additives. Asked to swap, new formula was fine but by then I'd already seen a derm for tret directly and the price gap is real.
I was post-accutane and needed simple maintenance. The formula they put me on has kept things steady for 8 months. Happy with the value vs an in-person derm for me.
Formula was decent but the subscription pressure and upsell emails got annoying. Cancellation took more clicks than it should have.
