microneedling with rosacea - my derm finally said yes

rosacea has always kept me off microneedling because of flare risk. my derm finally gave the green light for 1 gentle session with strict pre/post: no actives 1 wk before, mineral spf only after, no retinol for 5 days after. mild redness day 1, calm by day 3. texture is visibly better 3 weeks later. gentle > aggressive for sensitive skin.
